PARTY SECURITY

PARTY SECURITY

On any given day, thousands of people are throwing extravagant parties to celebrate milestones such as birthdays, anniversaries, marriages, divorces, and simply because it's Tuesday.

Social gatherings and parties are an excellent way for family and friends to get together to celebrate the good things in life.

However, nothing can ruin a great party like an unwanted guest or a security risk.

If you are in the planning stages of your next party or event, below are six reasons why you should add security guards to the guest list.
  • Unwanted Guests

If you are planning on throwing the party of the year, the last thing you want is for someone to crash it. While you are mingling with guests, dancing, talking with a caterer, or giving a tour of the home, it can be easy for a stranger or an unwanted guest to sneak into the party. If you have a specific guest list, security guards can be positioned at the entrance with this list and identify everyone who comes through the door. You can also give a list of people who are not authorized to be in the home, and security guards will make sure that these unwanted guests do not make an appearance. This is your party that you've worked hard to plan, and a team of trained security guards will make sure that nobody comes in to ruin it.

  • Prevent Fights

We've all been in a situation where you get a bunch of people together, mix in a little bit of alcohol, and before you know it, two people are throwing punches in the living room. This is a quick way to ruin the mood of a party, cause expensive damages, and stain your reputation. Having event security on-site can keep these conflicts at a minimum. Security guards are trained to diffuse a situation before it becomes a problem and are prepared to escort intoxicated or unruly guests off of the property.

  • Robbery

When inviting guests into your house, especially friends and family, the last thing you should be worried about is your personal property being stolen. Unfortunately, property theft is a primary concern for hosts throwing private parties. In some cases, extravagant parties see hundreds of guests, many of whom the host does not know personally. Having a security guard on hand deters guests from removing any of your personal property from the home. Security guards can be positioned in a way that allows them to keep an eye on your valuables and ensure they are safe throughout the event.

  • Crowd Control

When the music gets pumping, drinks are flowing, and people are having a good time, sometimes things can get carried away. Having a lot of people in one space can cause logistic issues, such as noise complaints and parking issues. If the crowd gets a little out of hand or seems unmanageable, a trained security team can step up to direct traffic, remove unruly or disrespectful guests, and help everyone at the party adhere to local laws and protocols. The presence of a security team when a big crowd is present is also a safety measure. Big groups can increase the chances of injury, and a security team can identify these problems before they happen so that nobody gets hurt.

  • Protects Privacy

Not every partygoer understands that there are certain areas of a venue that are off-limits. Even if you politely remind them that your master bedroom, the entire upstairs, or the backyard is off-limits, you may have one or two nosy party guests that are tempted to check it out. If you've got an area that you strictly want reserve as off-limits, you may want to hire a security guard to protect the space. If you know that your private space is being protected, you will be able to focus on more important things, such as making your guests feel welcome and enjoying the party.

  • Allows You to Enjoy the Fun

One of the most important reasons to hire a security guard for your private event is because it allows you to relax and enjoy your event. When you are not worried about breaking up fights, preventing friends from stealing your valuables, or checking the door to make sure the nosy neighbor isn't trying to get in, you can enjoy the party. You can let loose, get lost in great conversations with great friends, and not have to worry about the safety or the security of your guests. This in itself is a good enough reason to hire a security guard for your private party.

Give yourself, and your guests, peace of mind by hiring a security guard for your next party.
